Two Blue Cities Celebration, April 5, 2025,

Please join us for the Manassas & Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee’s 2025 Two Blue Cities Celebration and Buffet Brunch, our oldest and largest annual fundraising and recognition event, on Saturday, April 5, from 10am-noon, at the Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad’s John S. Hutton Jr. Event Hall, 9324 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110 (near the Social Security office). Our Two Blue Cities brunch fundraiser celebrates MMPCDC’s outstanding Democratic elected officials and volunteer leaders, while raising the funds needed to help support our slate of Democratic candidates in the November General Election. The doors will open at 9:30 am, the brunch buffet will open at 10 am, and the program will start at 10:30 am. This year’s event will feature a silent auction of Democratic memorabilia, and Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) will deliver the keynote address. Attendees may also choose to participate in a 50/50 cash raffle in support of our local candidates. Enjoy a generous brunch buffet and the fellowship of your Democratic friends and neighbors, while listening to a series of rousing speeches by a host of elected officials and 2025 election candidates. All Democratic local and state elected officials and 2025 election candidates representing Manassas, Manassas Park, or Prince William County will be invited.

Committee of the Whole Meeting

MMPCDC Monthly Meetings for 2025, The Manassas & Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee typically holds monthly membership meetings on the third Wednesday of each month, from 7:00-8:30 pm, at the at the “Social Soiree” event center, 8270 Shoppers Square, Manassas, VA 20111 . All Democrats are welcome at all of our meetings.. Since the meeting date or location is subject to change, please check the red scrolling banner at the top of our website for updates. Our scheduled meeting dates in 2024 are as follows:  January 15 (with bake-off social), February 19, March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, October 15, and November 19 For December, we typically have a potluck holiday party in lieu of a business meeting. on Jan 15 2025 07:00 am

Equality Prince William Pride Festival, May 17, MMPCDC will staff a Democratic outreach table at the Equality Prince William Pride Festival on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from Noon to 4:00 pm (set up from 11:00-11:45 am; take down from 4:00-4:45 pm) on the lawn in front of the Manassas Museum, 9101 Prince William St, Manassas 20110.  We will promote voter registration, early and election day voting for the June 17 primary, the current primary election candidates and their campaign activities, and the work of our local Committee. All current Prince William-area Democratic candidates and their volunteers are welcome at our booth.
