Our 2026 Elections

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Manassas and Manassas Park voters will elect a U.S. senator, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and three members of their respective city council. City of Manassas voters will also elect three school board members.

A statewide voter referendum on remapping Virginia’s 11 Congressional Districts was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

A state-run Democratic primary election will be held on Tuesday, August 4 to decide the contested Democratic nominations for U.S. House of Representatives and Manassas City Council.

Candidates for Manassas Park City Council (aka Governing Body) and for Manassas City School Board are officially nonpartisan. They cannot be nominated by any political party and must qualify independently to appear on the general election ballot. However, political parties can endorse such candidates, and we expect to do so in 2026.
