Create hand-made protest signs in advance of our upcoming No Kings 3 visibility protest & rally in Manassas, Saturday, March 14, 10:30 am-Noon, in the Community Room at the Prince William Central Library, 8601 Mathis Ave, Manassas 20110. This date is two weeks BEFORE the No Kings 3 nationwide day of action on Sat. March 28. We'll supply the poster board and colored markers. Exercise your creative energy and sign-making skills, while enjoying the company of other local activists. RSVP on Mobilize so we'll know to bring enough supplies.

Our 2026 bake-off fundraising and social event will be held during the hour preceding our monthly membership meeting, 6-7 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Social Soiree event center. Non-members who are interested in our Democratic activities are most welcome to attend the bake off and to stay for our monthly meeting. Buy your ticket(s) in advance at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/3-18-2026-bake-off. You may also buy tickets (and additional tickets) at the event. Members and non-members are encouraged to submit their home-baked goods for consumption and judging at this event. Please email mmpcdc@gmail.com to notify us of your planned baked goods submission by March 4th.

The Manassas & Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee typically holds a monthly membership meeting on the third Wednesday of each month, from 7:00-8:30 pm, at the “Social Soiree” event center, 8270 Shoppers Square, Manassas, VA 20111. All Democrats are welcome at all of our meetings. Since the meeting date or location is subject to change, please check the red scrolling banner at the top of our website for updates. Our scheduled meeting dates in 2026 are as follows:  January 21 (biennial reorganization), February 18, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16, October 21, and November 18. For December, we typically have a potluck holiday party in lieu of a business meeting.

To protest the second Trump administration’s corruption, oligarchy, and growing authoritarianism, our Democracy Defenders subcommittee is organizing a No Kings 3 visibility protest and community gathering on Saturday, March 28, Noon-2 PM outside METZ MIDDLE SCHOOL, 9950 Wellington Rd, Manassas. What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
