Taste and judge chilis cooked by our local 2024 Democratic candidates while helping to fund their campaigns for elected office in Manassas or Manassas Park. Our chili cook off will be held at Social Soiree, 8270 Shoppers Square, Manassas, VA 20111 on Wednesday, July 17, from 6-7 pm, prior to the start of the monthly membership meeting of the Manassas & Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee (MMPCDC). Everyone who is not a member of MMPCDC is welcome to stay for the Committee meeting, which will feature 2024 Manassas School Board candidates who are seeking the endorsement of the Democratic Party. The minimum donation to participate in the chili tasting is $10, but we encourage folks to donate more since every dollar raised will be donated to our 2024 local candidates! ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................The Manassas & Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee typically holds monthly membership meetings on the third Wednesday of each month, from 7:00-8:30 pm, at the at the “Social Soiree” event center, 8270 Shoppers Square, Manassas, VA 20111. All Democrats are welcome at all of our meetings. Since the meeting date or location is subject to change, please check the red scrolling banner at the top of our website for updates. Our scheduled meeting dates in 2024 are as follows: January 17 (reorganization only), February 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, August 21, September 18, October 16, and November 20. For December, we typically have a potluck holiday party in lieu of a business meeting.
