In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
Our local event in the City of Manassas will be held in front of the new Manassas Community Center (on the former Marsteller Middle School site) at 8730 Sudley Rd, Manassas VA 20110.
We will gather with home-made protest signs along the sidewalk on the WEST side of Sudley Rd, between the Wawa convenience store property and the traffic signal at Stonewall Road.
Our event will begin at 11 am and end at 1 pm. We will have a brief rally with invited speakers starting around noon.
The event location has limited free public parking in surface lots in the front and on both sides of the community center building. If those spaces are filled, there is ample free public parking nearby around the medical buildings off Digges Rd, on the campus of the UVA Health Prince William Medical Center, and possibly behind the Manassas Baptist Church.
No public restrooms will be available onsite; however, a large Wawa convenience store is right next door.
PLEASE NOTE: Manassas City ordinance prohibits any protest sign, flag, or banner that is larger than 2 feet by 3 feet, and any sign support must be no wider than 1 inch and lack any pointed end.
To prepare for this event, feel free to join our sign-making party on Wednesday, June 11, 5:30-7:30 pm, in the Community Room at the Prince William Central Library, 8601 Mathis Ave, Manassas VA 20110.
On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
