Last night I watched Donald Trump give his “news conference” which, as someone else observed, seemed more like an infomercial. \u00a0There he was with his wine, steaks and whatever pimping them. \u00a0For what \u00a0it’s worth, the “press conference” consisted of 15 minutes of responding to reporter’s questions (while insulting them) and 45 minutes of self-aggrandizement. \u00a0The whole tone was spookily disturbing. \u00a0I almost felt like I was watching the mental meltdown of bipolar patient. \u00a0Raving and ranting that has been basically condoned and encouraged by the media. \u00a0What the media doesn’t seem to understand is that they are being manipulated by Trump. \u00a0The media shows up like pet poodles to listen to his every word hoping to get some imagined scoop. \u00a0Just once, I would ask you all (the media) to skip one of the debacles. \u00a0You won’t miss anything. \u00a0Nothing new. \u00a0The same thing over and over again. \u00a0And what does the media do, allow him to campaign without limits. \u00a0It’s nuts and he’s nuts. \u00a0It was so apparent last night. \u00a0Honestly, short of some piece of fiction, I have never seen anything like it. \u00a0It was off-the-rails. But it seems that the more outrageous Trump is, the more he is perceived as a viable candidate to be President of the United States. \u00a0Maybe that’s it. \u00a0Think about being President. \u00a0Can you see Trump and the rest of the world. \u00a0He can’t even have a cogent discussion regarding foreign affairs that most high school students can understand. \u00a0And who are his advisors? \u00a0And where are the real plans.? \u00a0Everything is hollow. \u00a0Like cutting into a rotten watermelon. \u00a0A facade with no substance or understanding. \u00a0He’s right about one thing: \u00a0WINNING. \u00a0What that means to the American people, he’s doesn’t given a damn.<\/p>\n
