At this point, I am going to avoid posting any views about the Democratic primary. \u00a0I have my opinion but our committee is not endorsing either candidate. \u00a0Nonetheless, we will go to the wall to get another Democrat in the White House this November. \u00a0The opposition’s choices are down right frightening.<\/p>\n
I guess we could rate the GOP candidates as who is the most repulsive but there are different degrees of that repulsiveness. \u00a0At the top of my list is Ted Cruz. \u00a0This guy is completely unsuited to be President. Some folks might think his strict and unbending ability to compromise is a strength. \u00a0When addressed, it’s usually related to domestic issues. \u00a0But imagine this mentality in trying to work with foreign policy issues. \u00a0It’s scary. \u00a0Start digging your bomb shelter. \u00a0Just like sacrificing government jobs so he could read Green Eggs and Ham to an audience of zero, he would probably be willing to sacrifice American lives to make a point. \u00a0Terrible choice. \u00a0And he beats his children…..<\/p>\n
#2 would be the Trumpster. \u00a0Need I say more. \u00a0He says nothing and simply wants to win. \u00a0I can imagine that if he loses, he wouldn’t run as an independent. \u00a0He would probably jump on the Democratic bandwagon. \u00a0He’s an opportunist and does what’s best for The Donald, not Americans.<\/p>\n
#3 Marco. \u00a0I love Chris Christie’s characterization of Rubio as the Boy in the Bubble. \u00a0Seinfeld style. \u00a0This guy can change his mind like I change my socks. \u00a0He has no substance and sound like a Chatty Cathy doll when he is confronted with questioning. \u00a0Pull his string and the same stump speech oozes out. \u00a0He is slick, smooth and thirsty. \u00a0Most appalling is that he would let a mother die if an abortion would save her life. \u00a0Yep. \u00a0Let them both die.<\/p>\n
#4 Fiorina but I don’t think we have to worry too much about her. \u00a0She has made herself unelectable and won’t even be debating with the guys tonight.<\/p>\n
#5 Christie. \u00a0Some people like his bullying brashness. \u00a0I don’t. \u00a0It’s demeaning and is only useful because the bully doesn’t know how to address issues without insulting the messenger. \u00a0That’s a great trait for a President, right? \u00a0Maybe the folks in New Jersey find it endearing. \u00a0But that’s New Jersey. \u00a0(A fine state.)<\/p>\n
#6 Kasich #7 Bush. \u00a0These two candidates are examples of why the American electorate has been brainwashed by commercial TV. \u00a0These guys are not entertainers. \u00a0They are not bold. \u00a0They are nerdy data crunchers. When they step out of that personna, they both look just plain silly. \u00a0They have good concrete things to say but they are boooorrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnggggg. \u00a0What a country. \u00a0Reject the boring smart guys for a snake oil salesman, carnival performer and a slimy flip-flopper.<\/p>\n
So where is it all going? \u00a0I’m starting to think that the GOP candidate might really be Trump. \u00a0I heard a listener on C-SPAN claim that if Bernie didn’t get the Democratic nomination, he would vote for Trump.
