{"id":582,"date":"2015-10-08T12:33:55","date_gmt":"2015-10-08T16:33:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manassascitydemocrats.com\/?p=582"},"modified":"2015-10-08T12:33:55","modified_gmt":"2015-10-08T16:33:55","slug":"prince-william-candidates-forum-oct-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/manassascitydemocrats.org\/?p=582","title":{"rendered":"Prince William Candidates&#8217; Forum, Oct. 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A candidates&#8217; forum for <strong>three Prince William County elections<\/strong>&#8211;Chairman of the Board of County Supervisors, Chairman of the School Board, and Commonwealth\u2019s Attorney&#8211;will be held at\u00a0at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nershalomva.org\/\"><strong>Congregation Ner Shalom in Dale City<\/strong><\/a>, on <strong>Saturday, October 10 from 7-10 PM<\/strong>.\u00a0 The forum is open to the public and free, but space is limited.<\/p>\n<div id=\"blox-story-text\" class=\"entry-content\">\n<div id=\"paging_container\" class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n<div class=\"encrypted-content\">\n<p>Republican incumbent Corey Stewart and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ricksmithforchair.com\/\"><strong>Democratic challenger Rick Smith<\/strong><\/a> for Chairman of the Board of County Supervisors; Tim Singstock, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ryansawyers.com\/\"><strong>Ryan Sawyers<\/strong><\/a> and Tracy Conroy for Chairman of the Prince William County School Board; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voteebert.com\/home.html\"><strong>Democratic incumbent Paul Ebert<\/strong><\/a> and Republican challenger Mike May for Commonwealth\u2019s Attorney are all expected to participate.\u00a0\u00a0 While school board elections are officially nonpartisan in Virginia, Ryan Sawyers has been endorsed by the Prince William County Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>The forum will be moderated by journalist Hank Silverberg, and Congressman Rob Wittman (R-1st) and state Delegate Luke Torian (D-HD52) are featured guests.
