Great Schools rates OHS as a 3 on a 10-scale. \u00a0Will Hal take credit for that? \u00a0And as far as Baldwin is concerned, Hal and his GOP cronies did NOT want to build the new Baldwin until it looked like the current structure was unsound and too small. \u00a0Keep in mind that Baldwin is the elementary school with students from our most diverse population including a population that rounds out the lowest level socio-economically. \u00a0They are also most likely to vote Democratic. \u00a0So why help them? \u00a0This is especially galling as Aveni is promoting vouchers that would be used for religious schools. \u00a0What’s wrong with that picture? \u00a0That’s a good question for Hal. \u00a0Would he also support “school choice” by robbing the public schools to support the wealthy?<\/p>\n
And Hal, how could you? \u00a0You had zero to do with Weems’ success. \u00a0That was all due to the remarkable and amazing principal who is now at Mayfield. \u00a0She was simply doing her job and actually was responsible for obtaining school uniforms for the students which are still being worn. \u00a0How can you possible take credit for that? \u00a0I’m surprised you weren’t on “Ellen” with the principal taking credit for her success.<\/p>\n
Now what about “Footsteps to Brilliance?” \u00a0First of all, it’s Footsteps2Brilliance which is a computer platform to assist in learning. \u00a0I’m sure Hal did not write the grant for the program. \u00a0I think you have to credit the school superintendent and school board for that. \u00a0Hal is the mayor who is an expert at ribbon cutting and tie breaking. \u00a0He cannot be held responsible for anything unless he also wants to take credit for the failures.<\/p>\n
