Fr\"\"<\/a>The City of Manassas Voter Registrar’s Office at 9025 Center St<\/em><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026<\/strong>, Manassas and Manassas Park voters will elect a U.S. Senator, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and three members of their respective city council.\u00a0 In addition, City of Manassas voters will elect three members of the City of Manassas School Board, and there will be special election for the District 20 seat in the Virginia House of Delegates for all voters in both cities (plus voters in some adjoining Prince William County communities).<\/p>\n

In 2026, Virginia’s election schedule has differed markedly from all other years in two key ways:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A statewide Congressional Redistricting Referendum was<\/strong>\u00a0held on April 21<\/strong>, with early voting beginning on March 6<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Party primary elections were not<\/strong> held in June this year, and there were no contested Democratic nominations in our area for any 2026 General Elections.\u00a0 A state-run Republican primary election<\/strong> to select the GOP nominees for U.S. Senate and for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District was held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026<\/strong> with early voting beginning on June 18th.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition, since the recently revised Manassas Park City Charter now prohibits party nominations for local elections (e.g., for Manassas Park City Council\/Governing Body), and since Virginia law prohibits party nominations for School Board elections, our local Democratic committee used an endorsement process<\/strong>, rather than a party nomination process, to recruit, identify, select, and support up to six candidates who have earned our trust for those six local offices<\/span>.<\/p>\n

    November 3, 2026 General Election (early voting begins on September 18)

    Ensure that you can vote at your regular polling place on Election Day (or vote earlier, either by mail-in ballot or in-person early voting).

    If you have registered to vote in Virginia in the past, verify that you are still registered to vote and that your address is up to date.<\/a><\/p>\n

    Register to Vote<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    If you have not yet registered to vote in Virginia or if you need to update your address, you must fill out the Virginia Voter Registration Application. You have the following registration options:<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Register online<\/a> via the Department of Elections website.
    \u2022 Complete     a voter registration application<\/a> by mail.
    \u2022 Appear at any voter registration site in Virginia, including the     City of Manassas Voter Registrar’s office at 9025 Center Street, Manassas, VA 20110<\/a>, the Manassas Park Voter Registrar’s office at City Hall, One Park Center Court, Manassas Park, VA 20111<\/a>, or the Prince William County Voter Registrar’s office at 9250 Lee Ave, Suite 1, Manassas, VA 20110<\/a> .
    \u2022 Apply for registration while visiting any Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office.<\/p>\n
